No compromise on performance
Fibrelite covers are proven to be highly durable, even in the most demanding environmentsPublic transport platforms and facilities are very busy areas where safety and efficiency is key. The frequent need to access underground utilities in these highly trafficked areas means that a time saving solution and anti-slip/skid walking surface is essential.
Manufactured using a specialized composite material, Fibrelite FRP trench and manhole covers will not corrode over time, unlike metal and concrete, meaning that they will not need to be replaced for many years.
Independent wet and dry tests carried out by Devon CC Materials Laboratory showed that Fibrelite manhole and trench covers – even when wet – have anti-slip/skid properties far exceeding health and safety advisory limits.
